When preparing forms using IRIS Forms help is available through menus and buttons which have been set up by the ISM system. This help is oriented towards the structure of the forms rather than towards the use of the IRIS Forms interface.
The help text is transferred from ISM to IRIS Forms with the schema and is linked to form, section and field structure. The help text may be a direct copy of that found in the NATO Users Handbook (NUH), adapted from text in the NATO ADatP-3 Part II - IV message format catalogues, or invented by the ISM user as the form, section or field was defined.
If you have any difficulty in interpreting the help text, you should contact the person responsible for the maintenance of your schema with suggested changes which can then be redistributed with the next schema.
The form help may be invoked through Field Help, Form Help Buttons or the Help Menu. Furthermore the help may be invoked through Popup Menus.
