Template Distribution

An IRIS Configuration Package (.icp file) can be used in three ways:

• Installation (Windows only)

• Automatic import

• Manual import

Installation (Windows only)

Place an .icp file together with the Installation file. The .icp file will be copied to the import folder and be imported by the first started client.

Automatic Import

Place an .icp file in the import folder. This folder is typically located at:

• On Windows: C:\ProgramData\Systematic\<product name>\import

• On Linux: /usr/share/iris-proxy/import

The actual location may differ depending on your installation type and platform. The .icp file will then be imported the next time the client is started.

Manual Import

Open the Template Manager and press the Import… or Import Local… button and browse to the .icp file. See Template Management for further use of the Template Manager.
