Thank you for downloading MieNet's Icon Libraries, 

MieNet's TPZ Icon Libraries are meant as Add-ons to TreePad-TM. 

Once you have unzipped any of the TPZ libraries, all that
is left to do is to place the library inside your TreePad
directory! From then on you can access and use your new TPZ 
Icon Library from within TreePad.

Please check the documentation in the file
<ReadMe_Icons.hjt>, enclosed in this Zip package, where
there are a few specially relevant observations 
('Terms of Use', 'LAST MINUTE - pls.read!' and information
on the Icons FAQ and on tips for using these icons) 
and...
        enjoy your new icons!

If you downloaded this TPZ Icon Library, but you haven't got
a copy of TreePad, you have a couple of alternatives at hand.
As they are not mutually exclusive, you may choose 1 or 2, 
below, or both:

1. download the corresponding regular Icon Library in MieNet's
Series. For every TPZ Library in the Series, there is always
an identical Icon Library, the icons in which stand in 
individual "*.ico" files.

2. download a free copy of TreePad's Reader program, called 
"TreePad Viewer," at

         <http://www.treepad.com/download/>

so you can read the enclosed documentation for MieNet's
Icons Libraries. You will find many useful links, 
tips and a FAQ made available to you in the 
<ReadMe_Icons.hjt> file. 

 Brief information on the free file reader "TreePad Viewer": 
   . requires no installation. 
   . uses NO extra dlls (=will NOT mess up your Windows 
     installation!). 
   . very simple + intuitive usage, though powerful
   . takes very little space on your disk
   . useful software to have handy for eBooks, shared files, 
     photo albums, etc., that you download
   . you can run it equally well from a floppy, or your disk
   . to uninstall: just delete the program file

At the same URL, <http://www.treepad.com/download/>, you can
also download any of the following three versions of TreePad:

     * TreePad PLUS
     * TreePad SAFE
     * TreePad Business Edition

With any of these, you can try out the TPZ library that you 
have downloaded. 

Differently from the TreePad Viewer, which is a freeware program, 
these three versions of TreePad listed right above are all 
shareware programs.

This means that you are offered a free evaluation period, at the 
end of which you need to decide whether to keep the program (in 
which case you will register it) or to delete the program from 
your disk.

You can thus use this trial period also to experiment with using
your new TPZ library on TreePad, and find out how you feel 
about it all.

Like TreePad Viewer, all other TreePad versions are just as simple
to start using, and just as small, though quite powerful: 
no installation needed, no extra dlls and, amazingly enough, you 
can likewise run any of them from a floppy!

There is a freeware version of TreePad, called TreePad Lite. It is 
an excellent program, but limited (as compared to the shareware 
versions) to handling only plain text and no images (nor icons).
