Total Commander v6.x

Total Commander (by Christian Ghisler), is a shareware file manager for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP.
I can really recomment it. Just try the shareware version!

Before you can use the Total Commander v6 plugin you must download the program and copy it to the plugin directory.

Download the shareware version.
There are 2 ways of adding the files:
  1. Install total commander and then copy the files from the installed location into the plugin\total commander\files directory. Is recomended to use an fresh Install.
  2. Extract install.cab from the total commander download file and extract all files from install.cab into the plugin\total commander\files directory.

Registered total commander users should also copy their wincmd.key file into the plugin\total commander\files directory. PE Builder will automatically copy it when found.

New by Eiffel :

  • Modified .ini file ( registers the location of wincmd.ini ) for adding suport to 2 drive buttons.
    Changed the way the files are copied. Now all the Files folder is copied.
  • Added IrfanView as Lister plugin. Now you can use Lister to see all formats suported by IrfanView.
    Note: you can use also XnView as plugin, just change the path in the .ini file ( keep the IView=1 option ).
    It supports more files types, but is slower.
  • Added suport for others plugins.


    • How to add Plugins - open the wincmd.ini ( Use the file supplied by me ).
    Check at the bottom, and you will see this :

    Just copy the plugins you need in the Files\Plugins folder, and make the changes in the .ini file.
    Don't forget to remove the ";".
