Placeholders

Placeholders are used to create sections and section groups in the form. In Edit Mode the Table of Contents displays allowable sections and section groups in the form. This is indicated by the grey colour code icon on each uninstantiated section or section group node. A placeholder icon indicates that the section or section group has not yet been created but can be inserted at this position in the form.

When a section is created, the colour code icon next to the section name changes from grey to red. This indicates that the section now exists in the form, but is not yet filled in, and the form is therefore invalid.
