PKTerm 99 - Windows 95, 98 and NT software for the Timewave TNCs

PKTerm for Windows host mode terminal software for the Timewave and AEA TNCs takes advantage of the true multitasking capabilities of Microsoft Windows. PKTerm 3.75.06 for Windows has added a RTS/DTR option to hardware handshaking and an option to allow the user to select whether they want HF mode buttons to appear on the HF toolbar. A utilities menu window menu option was also added under the HF window. A <Shift-Ctrl-K> option was added to do a LOCK/RECV in CW mode, similar to F4/F5 in PakRatt for DOS. PKTerm 3.75.06 for Windows includes a new user interface in a single window, a built in generic logging program, the MT63 soundcard mode, PSK 62.5 mode and TCP/IP support and much much more. But the best news for hams and MARS is that the new sound card modes just 'plug in'. This means a ham can create a DLL for any mode they please then put that DLL into the PKTerm folder and that new mode appears on the HF mode menu of PKTerm 3. This release fixes adds support for syncing with Log Windows 4.0 and fixes a Pactor changeover problem. It also has the new features of version 1.5.5 including: PSK31 support using the TNC for keying, PK-232 or PK-900 /PSK-31 hardware interface support, AGW Packet Engine support, voice DX spot announcements, support for 2 simultaneous TNCs, point and click settings for TNC commands at startup, 10 mode specific macros in addition to 10 global macros, CQ/ID/QRT macros, auto CQ functionality, Pactor connected station displayed in title bar, Pactor Quick Connect, 4K chat and macro buffer, support for satellite telemetry with the DSP-1232 and DSP-2232. It also includes features from the previous versions. Note: PKTerm 99 was the former name of PKTerm for Windows.

PKTerm for Windows includes a free, limited functionality Demo version so you can try it out before purchasing the full version. The suggested retail price of the full version of PKTerm for Windows is $99.95 and can be purchased directly from Creative Services Software or your favorite dealer. Current users of PKTerm for Windows can upgrade by downloading the Demo version. Your serial number and activation key will turn it into the full version. If you purchased PKTerm before October 1, 2004, you can upgrade to the current version for $49.95. Upgrades are free is you purchased PKTerm for Windows after October 1, 2004.
